gender
tbh gender is what you make of it but it’s nothing but performance truly so at the end of the day it is for myself but i enjoy finding new ways to find validity in myself
Over time, I’ve realized that gender is less about fitting into predefined boxes and more about how I choose to express myself daily. For me, this has meant embracing actions and styles that resonate personally rather than adhering strictly to societal expectations. For example, in professional settings, I don’t shy away from wearing pants — it's about comfort and confidence rather than convention. Another way I express my gender identity is through my grooming choices. I appreciate being selective about which areas like brows or head I keep hairless, allowing these choices to feel intentional rather than obligatory. This thoughtful approach to beauty is less about conforming and more about enhancing parts of myself that feel authentic. Gender, to me, feels like a performance in the sense that it’s fluid and adaptable. By actively exploring different facets of gender expression, I find new ways to validate myself and celebrate my identity. It’s empowering when these expressions come from a place of personal truth rather than external expectations. This mindset has enriched my confidence and helped me embrace who I am beyond societal limitations.
