Jalapeño Cheddar Braided Bread

This bread is garlicky, cheesy and soft with a small kick from the jalapeño. I use the jarred diced pickled jalapeños. If you like it more spicy you can chop fresh jalapeno. Just be mindful of the amount of seeds you allow since that’s where the real spice comes from with fresh. Also letting the yeast bloom before starting to add everything together really is an important step so take the time to allow it to get good and frothy! #jalapenobread #baking #jalapenocheddarbread #fallvibes #fyp

🚨 This recipe makes two loaves! Half for one 😊

Pro tip allow your stand mixer to mix this for a good 5 mins at the least to develop some real gluten. I used all purpose flour for this recipe but you could definitely use bread flour and it would probably be even more soft.

You do not have to have a mixer! You can mix this by hand just be sure to knead the dough real good in place of the mixer.

Letting the bread rest each time is important and gives it a chance to rise.

You could absolutely do this as two loaves and skip the braiding!! ♥️♥️
