Coconut Frosting:

* ½ cup brown + white sugar

* ½ cup butter

* 3 egg yolks

* ¾ cup evaporated milk

* 1 Tbsp vanilla

* 1 cup pecans

* 1 cup sweetened coconut

Chocolate Frosting:

* ½ cup butter

* ⅔ cup cocoa

* 3 cups powdered sugar

* ⅓ cup evap. milk

* 1 tsp vanilla

👩‍🍳 How to Make It:

1️⃣ Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease two 8" or 9" pans + line bottoms.

2️⃣ Mix dry ingredients. In another bowl, mix eggs, buttermilk, oil & vanilla. Combine wet + dry, then stir in boiling water.

3️⃣ Pour into pans. Bake 25–35 min. Cool 5 min, then transfer to racks.

4️⃣ For coconut frosting: Cook sugars, butter, yolks & milk until thick. Stir in vanilla, pecans & coconut. Cool completely.

5️⃣ For chocolate frosting: Melt butter, stir in cocoa, then beat in powdered sugar & milk. Add vanilla.

6️⃣ Assemble: Layer cake with chocolate + coconut frosting. Finish with coconut on top.
