Are you training faith or just trying it

A lot of people aren’t actually training their faith—they’re just trying it when life gets hard.

And the moment things don’t improve quickly, they assume God failed them.

But real faith isn’t built in comfort. It’s trained through consistency, pressure, obedience, and trust over time.

That’s why Scripture compares spiritual growth to endurance, discipline, and perseverance.

Abraham had to wait.

Joseph had to suffer before purpose.

Jesus Christ endured the cross before resurrection.

Faith that survives life is not emotional hype.

It’s spiritual conditioning.

So ask yourself honestly:

Are you only trying faith when you need something…

or are you allowing God to train you through everything?

Follow for more truth about God, healing, spiritual maturity, and real faith.

... Read moreFrom my own journey, I've realized that faith is much like building muscle. Just as athletes don’t train only when the mood strikes but maintain a consistent regimen, spiritual faith requires daily commitment—even when prayers seem unanswered or life feels overwhelming. The teachings of Hebrews 12:1-2 resonate deeply here, urging us to run with endurance the race set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, who exemplified ultimate faith by enduring the cross. I remember a season in my life filled with uncertainty and waiting. Instead of losing heart, I began to view those moments as opportunities for 'faith training.' Like the biblical examples of Abraham’s patience and Joseph’s trials, I learned that pressure and delays are not signs of failure but essential elements for spiritual conditioning. This perspective shift helped me embrace hardships as God's way of developing endurance and resilience in my faith. Prayer transformed from a request-based dialogue into a practice of trust and obedience. Sometimes, I prayed even when emotions were flat, or my circumstances didn’t immediately improve. This repetitive act gradually reinforced my trust, much like religious habit-building, encouraging spiritual maturity beyond emotional highs or lows. The key lesson? Faith that lasts is not dependent on quick results but grows stronger through consistent practice amid life’s ups and downs. If you find yourself only turning to God when convenient or when you expect immediate answers, try reframing your mindset. Treat your faith like athletes treat training: with discipline, persistence, and trust in the ultimate Coach. Over time, this spiritual conditioning cultivates a faith that doesn’t just survive tough seasons but thrives within them, reflecting true endurance and God’s transformative power.

Does sleep training make you a bad mom?
Sleep training vs co-sleeping has parents divided. A lot of parents will argue that one is safer than the other, and a lot of parents will get judged for doing one and not the other. Before we get into it, what’s the difference? Sleep training is basically letting the baby “cry it out”
