... Read moreHaving gone through the challenging two week wait (TWW) myself during my IVF journey, I understand how testing repeatedly, like peeing in a cup every day, becomes part of your routine – sometimes a comfort, sometimes a source of anxiety. The TWW is the period between ovulation or embryo transfer and the pregnancy test, often considered one of the most difficult phases because of the uncertainty. Many who are trying to conceive (TTC) or managing infertility find themselves caught in a cycle of hope and worry. Regular testing can feel overwhelming, especially when results are inconclusive or fluctuate. From my experience, finding small ways to stay grounded helped tremendously. Keeping busy, practicing mindfulness, and seeking support from communities focused on TTC, infertility, and IVF made a big difference. Using hashtags like #ttcjourney and #infertility on social platforms helped me connect with others facing similar struggles. It’s also important to remember that each day of waiting and testing is a step toward your goal. Whether it’s day 2 of your two week wait or day 100 of testing, every moment counts. Acknowledging your feelings and allowing yourself to experience both hope and disappointment is part of the process. If you’re going through this, try to be gentle with yourself. Celebrate the small victories and seek comfort in routines, even if it’s as simple as your daily testing. Sharing your journey, no matter how tough, can empower you and others navigating similar paths.
