We created Bird&Be in response to our own team’s really tough experiences with fertility and the fertility journey. And then we interviewed hundreds of others who struggled and identified some patterns.
Although resources existed, infertility and pregnancy loss were not dinner table conversation at the time, and the education around prevention and proactivity (related to the lifestyle piece of the fertility equation) were not as much of a focus.
Bird&Be exists to provide that early education - all of it verified by doctors to combat some of the misinformation online. And we are here to make fertility a part of everyday conversation so you will know what to expect, and feel less alone if you do find yourself on an infertility journey.
From my own experience navigating fertility challenges, I found it incredibly isolating to discuss infertility and pregnancy loss openly. Bird&Be’s approach to making fertility a normal part of everyday conversations truly resonates. What sets Bird&Be apart is its commitment to providing accurate, doctor-verified information that cuts through the confusion and misinformation commonly found online. This focus on prevention and a proactive lifestyle approach is something I wish had been available early on in my journey. Personally, I realized how vital early education is—not only for understanding what to expect but also for making informed lifestyle choices that can influence fertility. Bird&Be’s efforts to share these insights encourage individuals and couples to feel less alone and more empowered. Discussing fertility openly at the dinner table or with close friends and family can reduce stigma and foster a supportive environment. Additionally, the community aspect that Bird&Be creates helps people connect with others facing similar struggles, which can make a huge difference emotionally and mentally. Their work reminds us that fertility challenges are more common than often acknowledged, and with the right knowledge and support, the journey becomes more manageable. If you’re on or considering your own fertility journey, turning to resources like Bird&Be can provide reassurance and practical guidance that makes a real difference.
