Day 14 of 75!!!
It's incredible to be sharing my journey on Day 14 of the 75 Hard challenge! If you've been seeing the #75hard hashtag around and wondering what all the hype is about, let me tell you, it’s more than just a fitness routine—it's a complete mental toughness program. As someone who’s passionate about personal growth and staying active, this challenge really appealed to me. It's designed to push your limits and build incredible discipline, which ultimately spills over into every area of your life. So, what exactly does '75 Hard training' involve? The core of it revolves around several non-negotiable daily tasks for 75 consecutive days. For the physical aspect, it’s two 45-minute workouts every day, and one of them has to be outdoors, no matter the weather. This outdoor workout has been a game-changer for me. Some days, it's a brisk walk, other days a run, or even a bodyweight circuit in the park. It forces me to embrace the elements and find creative ways to move my body. The second workout can be anything, from lifting weights at the gym to a yoga session at home. The consistency is key, and it truly solidifies a strong daily routine. Beyond the workouts, there are strict diet rules (no cheat meals, no alcohol), reading 10 pages of a non-fiction book daily, drinking a gallon of water, and taking a progress picture every single day. The combination of these elements makes it a holistic approach to self-improvement. It's not just about getting fit; it's about proving to yourself that you can commit and follow through, day in and day out. On this particular DAY, Day 14, I’m feeling a mix of exhaustion and exhilaration. There are moments when getting that second workout in feels like climbing Everest, especially after a long day. The mental battle is often harder than the physical one. I’ve learned to plan my workouts in advance and treat them as non-negotiable appointments, almost like a job. Having a dedicated time slot for each workout, and being flexible with what the workout is, helps immensely. For instance, on days when I'm short on time or energy, a brisk walk outdoors and a gentle stretching session indoors still count and keep the momentum going. For anyone considering diving into their own 75 HARD DIARIES, my biggest advice is to prepare mentally. Understand that there will be tough days, but showing up, even when you don't feel like it, is where the real growth happens. It’s not about perfection, but about adherence and building habits that will last far beyond the 75 days. The structure it provides is fantastic for personal growth, and I’m genuinely excited to see where the rest of this journey takes me. Remember, every single day you complete is a victory, and logging your progress, even just for yourself, is incredibly motivating. Stick with it, and you'll be amazed at what you can achieve.
