How I grew my dead hair 🥰🌸
Basically when I was around 8 my curly hair ( 4a I think ) started to break a bunch. So I started straightening it a bunch which made my hair even more dead. So to help with my heat damage I developed I got keratin treatment for my hair. That got ride of all my curls for the next 6 months. But we chopped off a lot. My hair was dry brittle and short so here’s my explanation for all of these tips.
1. Minimal heat
Like I said my hair had heat damage. After my treatment I stopped straightening my hair except for special occasions. But I make an exception for blow drying.
2. Treat your dry hair
my hair is ALWAYS dry but theirs a difference between dry and brittle. So I always buy a hair mask and conditioner when I was my hair. & add hair into my hair at least twice a day.
3. Do basic styles
I know it’s boring to do a plain pony. BUT when your hair is brittle and fragile it can take you doing high pony’s, braids ( when hair is knotted) etc. when your hair gets stronger a high pony or braid is a bit safer.
4. Wash your hair daily
what daily means to people might vary put for me it’s once a week. Cause your hairs already dry and brittle but it’s way worse when it’s dirty. One time I was laying down and scratching my very dirty hair and there were a bunch of hair on my pillow.

I never said you had too wear ponytails and braids everyday. Just don’t wear tight straining or super technical difficult styles everyday cause if you have weak hair it could be damaging. And, I said that you should wash your daily and that for ME that is to wash it every week. I also said that how often you wash your hair can VARY.
