Learning to Breathe Again
I didn’t realize how long I had been surviving instead of truly living—always bracing, always pushing, always exhausted. Today, I’m asking God to help me breathe again and guide me out of survival mode. I’m unlearning survival and relearning trust, one breath and one prayer at a time. #SurvivalM

How I am relearning to love myself at 40
At forty I got my world knocked on it’s ass. Now it’s all I can do to get up, get out and be a human. The easiest ways I’ve found have been to: Give myself space to be not my best self… as the whole idea of what has happened is so large and epic that I can’t blame my body’s stress response.
