『高速読書』（上岡正明）でいちばん衝撃だったのは、やっぱり「同じ本を30分で3回読む」という発想でした。最初はツッコミたくなるんですが、やってみると“ただ速く読むだけでは結局何も変わらない”という前提があるから成立するんだな、と腑に落ちました。ここでは私が試してみて、特に効いたやり方を補足します。 まず大前提は「目的設定」。私は読み始める前に、スマホのメモに1行だけ書きます。 ・今日この本から持ち帰りたいこと（例：仕事の段取りを改善するヒントを3つ） これがあると、本文のどこを拾えばいいかがはっきりして、読むスピードが自然と上がります。 次に、3回読みの“中身”を自分用に分解しました。30分で3回が厳しい日は、合計90分〜120分でOKにしています。 1回目（ロケットスタート気味に）：目次→太字→見出し中心。気になるページだけ止まる。読むというより「地図を作る」感覚。 2回目：1回目で印を付けた章を中心に、根拠や具体例を回収。ここで初めて「なるほど」と思える行が増えます。 3回目：使えそうな内容を3つだけ選んで、実行案に落とす（ToDo化）。読了メモは長文にせず、箇条書き3つに絞るのが続きました。 あと、私がつまずいたのは「付箋を貼りすぎ問題」。貼るたびに手が止まって速度が落ちるので、代わりに“ページ端を指で挟んで覚える”くらいにして、最後にまとめて戻るようにしたらテンポが崩れませんでした。 実践しやすかった本の選び方も大事です。いきなり新品の小説でやると罪悪感が出るので、私は図書館本やブックオフで買ったビジネス書・自己啓発本でトライしました。「読書代のもとを取らなきゃ」という圧が減って、結果的に回転数が上がります。 最後に、読んだ“気”で終わらせないための小技。3回目のあとに「明日やることを1つだけ」決めると、読み方が一気に実用寄りになります。高速読書って、スピードそのものより“行動につなげる設計”が本体なんだな、と感じました。
