Some weeks I have to stop and really feel the shift…

Because as a former hairstylist, this amount would’ve taken weeks of standing behind the chair, double booking, missing dinners, missing bedtime, and smiling through exhaustion all while praying the tips were good enough to keep us afloat that month.

Back then, I didn’t realize how much of my life I was trading away.

How many memories with my babies I was sacrificing just to survive another month.

And now… this week inside the high-ticket agency I’m building, these commissions came in from work I’ve built over time, systems, skills, mentorship, and a business model that doesn’t require me to disappear from my kids’ childhood to earn an income.

I was present for everything the rain puddles, the giggles, the snack times, the quiet little moments I used to miss. ❤️

Nothing is guaranteed and everyone’s effort looks different but this is the first time in my life I’ve experienced the kind of freedom that comes from learning a skill that continues to work even when I’m not behind a chair.

And here’s the truth that changed me forever:

If you don’t eventually learn a way to earn without trading hour-for-hour, you’ll spend your whole life working until you can’t anymore.

That reality hit me hard and it’s the reason I said “yes” to building something bigger.
