What I’ve learned about myself lately 🫶🏽

Lately I’ve realized that healing isn’t always pretty. It’s messy, nonlinear, and sometimes uncomfortable—but it’s real.

I’m learning to stop shrinking myself to make others comfortable. I’m learning that setting boundaries doesn’t make me “difficult”—it makes me healthy.

And most of all, I’m learning to like the woman I’m becoming, not just love her out of obligation.

This version of me? She’s just getting started.

... Read moreHealing often feels chaotic and uncomfortable, yet it's crucial for personal growth. It's essential to understand that the path to self-discovery is rarely linear. Embracing our true selves means not compromising our individuality for the comfort of others. By advocating for ourselves and setting healthy boundaries, we allow for deeper connections with those who accept us as we are. This process can be incredibly empowering, leading to an authentic existence. In exploring these themes, many are turning to resources like books on emotional intelligence or online communities focused on self-improvement. Engaging with such communities can provide support and guidance through this sometimes tumultuous journey. Conversations around self-acceptance and personal growth inspire many to share their experiences, creating a rich tapestry of narratives that resonate. Learning to honor our journey, accepting imperfections, and celebrating progress are key takeaways in the healing process. By sharing these insights, I hope to foster a nurturing environment for those embarking on their journeys towards self-love and empowerment.
