Travelling the world through my taste buds 🌏 First Bites: Mediterranean food🔯
📍 Craving for some Mediterranean food at Haji Lane!(Trust me, you have a STREETFUL of choices there so go with ur gut feeling to try out the diff restaurants!)
👉🏻 Ordered:
• Grill Platter for 2
• Lavash Bread
• Mango Ayran/Lassi
💭 First impressions/Thoughts:
Fresh, hearty, and flavourful, each dish brings something different to my tastebuds!
👍🏻 Mezze Platter:
Dips were tasty! Hummus could be nuttier, but labneh yogurt dip was refreshing, and the Mousakka Fattoush salad added a fun mix of bell peppers, chickpeas, and pumpkin.
Ratings: ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5/5
👍🏻 Pita & Lavash Bread:
Pita: soft, not dry, perfect for dipping 🫓
Lavash: freshly baked, puffed up, soft on top, slightly crispy bottom
Ratings: ⭐️⭐️⭐️🔥/5!
👍🏻 Grill Platter:
Chicken & lamb kofta; the lamb was more flavourful (personal preference and I like the lamb taste)
Chicken could use more grill/flavour, slightly dry
Rice was fragrant, but would love it to be placed under the meat to soak up the juices!
Ratings: ⭐️⭐️⭐️🔥/5!
✨ Overall:
Good value, especially with Eatigo discount (30%)
Filling and satisfying for 2 pax ($95.55 including GST/service & drinks)
Would come back for the bread + mezze combination and definitely the meat platter too because we need proteins still!🤭
