It boils down to ingredients. I look for options made with real fruit juice – like those yummy fruit strips or organic fruit peelable strings I’ve found. They offer natural sweetness and often come with the added bonus of being gelatin-free and *gluten-free*, which is a huge plus for many. Beyond fruit, I pay attention to sweeteners. Brands that use natural alternatives like stevia, monk fruit, or even just less added sugar, instantly catch my eye. The goal is *balanced sweetness without artificial additives*. This means steering clear of synthetic colors, flavors, and high-fructose corn syrup. When I see labels boasting "organic" and "non-GMO," it’s usually a good sign that the brand cares about cleaner ingredients. And oh, *chocolate alternatives*!
