How I lost 43 LBS in 6 months! 💪🏾🫶

The journey has been far from perfect, but I’m proud of my progress so far!

Here’s what helped me get here:

1. Simple but flavorful meals 🥙– I cut sugar, lowered my carbs, and loaded up on green veggies.

2. Protein was key 🥩– I added it wherever I could (still working on boosting it more to build lean muscle!).

3. Daily scenic walks 🚶🏾‍♀️🚶🏾‍♀️– 10,000+ steps a day helped me clear my mind and burn fat.

4. Weights 3x a week 🏋🏾‍♀️– Strength training is giving me the tone I’ve always wanted.

5. Water only (or electrolytes) 💦– Hydration is still a challenge sometimes, but it makes a huge difference!

This has been a journey of trial and error, but I’m so proud of how far I’ve come.

I’m not done yet—I want to be in the best shape of my life.

If you’re working on your glow-up too, just know: progress > perfection. You’ve got this!

... Read moreLosing weight can be a challenging journey, but with the right strategies, it becomes achievable. My weight loss process involved making significant changes to my diet—focusing on nutrient-dense foods while avoiding sugars and processed carbs. For instance, I incorporated more greens and lean proteins, which not only supported my weight loss but also improved my overall health. Regular physical activity was crucial in my transformation. I committed to walking more than 10,000 steps daily, allowing me to enjoy nature while burning calories. In addition, I introduced strength training three times a week to build lean muscle mass, which is essential for enhancing metabolism and achieving a toned physique. Hydration played a pivotal role too. Staying hydrated with water and electrolytes kept me energized and assisted in my weight loss efforts. I also found that setting small, achievable goals kept me motivated throughout my journey. If you're looking for an effective weight loss strategy, it might be beneficial to incorporate these elements into your routine. Remember, embracing the journey is just as important as the destination. You can achieve your fitness dreams with dedication and the right mindset!
