Savory mushrooms stuffed with a rich blend of crispy bacon, juicy shrimp, and creamy cheese.

Ingredients:

- 12 large white mushrooms, stems removed

- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

- 1/2 lb shrimp, peeled, deveined, and chopped

- 4 oz cream cheese, softened

- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese

- 2 cloves garlic, minced

- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

- 1/2 tsp paprika

- Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar, garlic, parsley, paprika, salt, and pepper.

3. Fold in chopped shrimp and crumbled bacon.

4. Spoon the mixture into mushroom caps, pressing gently.

You can finely chop them and sauté them with a little onion or garlic before adding them to your filling for an extra layer of mushroomy flavor, though the original recipe is fantastic keeping it simple. For that irresistible 'golden-brown, cheesy mixture' that everyone raves about, ensure your cream cheese is really softened to room temperature.
