Peach Dump Cake
INGREDIENTS :
3 cans peaches, 15 ounces 2 cans peaches with juice, 1 can drained peaches See notes further down if you have frozen peaches or fresh peaches.
15.25 ounce yellow cake – you just need the dry cake mix, you don’t need the extra ingredients on the box to make the cake.
¾ teaspoon cinnamon divided
8 tablespoons butter – both salted or unsalted butter will be ok
¼ cup brown sugar
⅛ teaspoon salt
DIRECTIONS:
1. Grease a 9×13 pan or casserole dish with cooking spray oil. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
2. In a medium mixing bowl, mix together brown sugar, ¼ teaspoon cinnamon and salt and set to the side for the top of the cobbler.
3. Pour two cans of peaches with juice and one can drained peaches into the prepared pan. Sprinkle peaches with ½ teaspoon cinnamon.
4. Dump the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the top of the peaches. Spread lightly and but evenly with a spatula.
5. Slice butter into thin pats. Place butter all over the cake, covering as much of the top of the cake mix as possible.
6. Sprinkle the brown sugar mixture all over butter evenly.
7. Bake for 50-55 minutes until the cake is lightly browned on top and bubbly around the edges. Let cool for a few minutes, then serve and enjoy- the best part!

Vanilla Ice Cream– A scoop of vanilla ice cream or peach ice cream, or butter pecan is delicious with this dish.
Top With Whipped Cream – A pretty dollop of whipped cream looks beautiful swirled on top of this cake on the plate. You can also use a dollop of whipped topping, like Cool Whip, and it is also delicious.
Swap The Cake Mix– We’ve used a yellow cake mix, but you can use a different cake mix such as a spice cake mix, white cake mix or a vanilla cake mix and this dessert will still be delicious.
