Homemade Healthier Cinnamon toast crunch!😍

Did you know you can make your own healthier cinnamon toast crunch cereal at home? It’s easy to make and gives such a nostalgic vibe. This recipe is also gluten-free and has a vegan-friendly option!

CINNAMON TOAST CRUNCH CEREAL

Ingredients:

-1 cup oat flour

-1/4 cup almond flour

-2 tbsp coconut sugar or brown sugar

-1 tsp cinnamon

-1/4 tsp salt

-2 tbsp melted butter or coconut oil

-2 tbsp maple syrup

-1 tsp vanilla extract

-2-3 tbsp water (if needed to help the dough come together)

-1 tbsp raw cane sugar + 1 tsp cinnamon to sprinkle

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl. Add water as needed to help bind the dough together, but don’t add too much so the dough is wet! Place the dough between two sheets of parchment paper. Roll it out into a thin, even layer (about 1/8 inch thick). Remove the top sheet of parchment paper. Use a pizza cutter or sharp knife to cut the dough into small squares (about 1/2 inch). Carefully transfer the parchment paper with the cut dough onto the prepared baking sheet. In a small bowl, mix the coconut sugar and ground cinnamon for the coating. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the cut dough. ake in the preheated oven for 12-18 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the cereal is crisp. Allow the cereal to cool completely on the baking sheet. Once cool, break apart any pieces that may have stuck together. Store in an airtight container.
