What saved my hair 😩

Story time:

I have had dandruff for quite some years now but never drastic and generally only in winters. I didn’t suffer from dandruff in summers.

I am one of those who oils my head quite frequently.

But lately I faced

1. Constant dandruff 😩

2. A lot of pain in my scalp within 2 days of washing🥺

3. Increased hair fall😭

Now I know that hair fall can be because of deficiencies like biotin and protein so I add supplements in my diet

But dandruff? Gosh I hated the scalp pain.

So I google and came across Nizorol among other options. I decided to start with this one and if it didn’t work I’d try with something else.

But god Nizorol has saved(a lot)

what changed:

1. You can see not much dandruff on my scalp. Previously it used to be visible and I was embarrassed 🙂

2. My hair fall has reduced quite a lot. It’s not to zero, which I wasn’t aiming for because it’s a lot of factors but definitely a reduction 😌

3. The scalp pain: much better. I still get it after 4-5 days but as per Nizorol I should use it twice a week and when I do, I don’t get scalp irritation.😌

... Read moreHey everyone! Following up on my last post about how Nizoral Anti-Dandruff Shampoo transformed my hair, I wanted to dive a bit deeper into why this “blue bottle” has become such a staple in my routine. When I say it saved my hair, I truly mean it. For years, I struggled with that relentless cycle of constant dandruff, a dry, itchy scalp, and the frustrating increase in hair fall that came with it. It wasn't just aesthetic; the scalp pain within days of washing was genuinely debilitating. What really makes Nizoral stand out is its active ingredient: Ketoconazole. This isn't just a regular shampoo; Ketoconazole is an antifungal agent that tackles the root cause of dandruff – a yeast-like fungus called Malassezia. Many over-the-counter dandruff shampoos help, but they often just manage the symptoms. Nizoral, with its powerful Ketoconazole formula, actually treats the underlying issue. I remember researching options and seeing “ketoconazole target” pop up quite a bit, which led me to this specific shampoo. When I first got my hands on the blue bottle from Target – it was around $16, which felt like a small investment for potential relief – I was a bit skeptical. The texture of the ketoconazole shampoo is quite unique. It's not overly thick or creamy like some regular shampoos; it's more of a gel-like consistency. A little goes a long way, and it lathers surprisingly well. I focused on massaging it gently into my scalp, letting it sit for a few minutes as per the instructions. This step is crucial for the Ketoconazole to really work its magic. My routine involved using it twice a week, as recommended. Initially, I was so used to oiling my hair frequently, but I realized that while natural oils are good, product buildup can exacerbate conditions like dandruff. With Nizoral, I found myself needing less frequent oiling because my scalp felt so much healthier. The drastic decrease in dandruff was visible almost immediately. No more embarrassing flakes! But the biggest relief was the significant reduction in scalp pain and, surprisingly, my hair fall started to lessen too. It wasn't an overnight fix, but within a few weeks, the improvements were undeniable. My hair felt healthier, and my scalp was finally calm. If you're dealing with similar persistent dandruff, dry scalp, or even increased hair fall linked to scalp irritation, I honestly can't recommend giving Nizoral Anti-Dandruff Shampoo a try enough. Just look for the distinctive blue bottle. It's been an absolute game-changer for my long, dark hair, and I hope my honest review helps you find the relief I did! Remember to follow the directions for usage for the best results.

A person's back shows long, light-colored damaged hair, with an inset close-up revealing severe thinning and breakage on the scalp. The image highlights the impact of 6 years of bleaching, hair extension damage, and diabetic hair thinning and loss.
This image explains how avoiding heat helps hair recovery. High temperatures alter hair's protein structure, convert α-keratin to β-keratin, weaken hair, open cuticles, and strip natural moisture and oils, leading to dryness and damage.
The image illustrates the benefits of using a shower filter for hair health. It removes contaminants like chlorine, lead, and heavy metals that can damage hair, making it rough and dry, and supports a healthy scalp for growth and shine.
How I saved my damaged hair
