... Read moreIn my own journey toward better emotional regulation and manifestation, I found pinpointing these three nervous system states incredibly transformative. The Fight/Flight response often shows up as heightened anxiety or a sense of urgency, making it hard to focus or manifest anything meaningful. Recognizing when I was trapped in this reactive state allowed me to consciously pause and practice relaxation techniques, like deep breathing or grounding exercises. The Freeze or Shutdown state felt like emotional numbness or disconnection—where motivation and possibility seemed distant. This state can block creativity and forward momentum. Over time, I learned to gently acknowledge this feeling, rather than push it away, and gradually reintroduce small, engaging activities to restore energy and presence. The goal is to reach and sustain the Regulated state—where calmness and alertness coexist. From this balanced state, manifestation flows more naturally because the nervous system isn’t hijacked by stress or shutdown. Practices such as vagus nerve stimulation, mindfulness meditation, and body awareness can support this regulated state. By naming which state I was in throughout the day, I gained greater self-awareness and the power to gently shift my mindset. If you feel stuck in your manifestations or emotional cycle, try this simple step: identify whether you’re in Fight/Flight, Freeze, or Regulated. Naming your state can be a first crucial step to taming your nervous system and unlocking your potential. Sharing these insights with others who struggle can create a ripple effect of healing and empowerment.
