Stop Doing Pomodoro and Do This Instead!!

The pomodoro technique is widely known by now, but I think I found something that's even better!

It's called the Flowmodoro technique

What you do is:

- Write down the time when you start studying, let's say its 10:30.

- Then study for as long as you can focus for. As soon as you feel yourself start to get distracted or need a break, then write down the time you stopped studying. Let's say 10:58.

If you studied for under 20 minutes take a 3 minute break, from 20-45 minutes take a 7 minute break, and over 45 minutes take a 10 minute break!

This way you don't have to stop every 25 minutes in case you want to study and stay in the zone for longer!

I have found this method to be way more flexible and I am able to get twice the amount of work done during my study sessions!

Try it out and let me know how you like it!

FOLLOW for more study tips!

... Read moreThe Flowmodoro technique is a revolutionary approach that caters to individual focus patterns, making it superior to the traditional Pomodoro method. This technique empowers students to study longer without the interruptions imposed by fixed time intervals. By simply noting your start time and studying until distraction sets in, you are encouraged to fully immerse yourself in the task at hand. When you start feeling distracted, you take a break that is proportional to your study duration: a 3-minute break for under 20 minutes of focus, 7 minutes for 20-45 minutes, and 10 minutes for sessions over 45 minutes. This flexibility harnesses your natural study rhythms and can lead to increased productivity, allowing students to potentially double their output. Many users have reported feeling less pressured and more engaged with their studies. Moreover, the Flowmodoro technique is adaptable, fitting various learning styles and preferences. By giving individuals control over their study periods, it enhances their ability to maintain concentration and achieve their academic goals efficiently. Those looking for effective study strategies should definitely consider trying out the Flowmodoro technique to maximize their study sessions and improve overall performance!
