My Secret to Balancing School & Not Crashing Out

Balancing school and a job is NOT for the weak, but you don’t have to go full burnt-out girlboss to make it work. The key? Planning with purpose and protecting your peace. I time-block my week like it’s a game of Tetris! Work shifts, class hours, study blocks, and YES, built-in breaks. Having a routine literally saves my brain from spiraling and keeps me feeling a little more in control (even if I'm running on iced coffee and vibes 😅).

Also: be realistic with your energy!! You’re not a robot. Don’t overbook yourself, and don’t be afraid to say no to extra shifts or social stuff if your schedule is packed. A 10-minute reset walk or journaling sesh can totally recharge you. And remember, you’re doing something HARD. Be proud of yourself, pace yourself, and romanticize the fact that you’re juggling all this like the academic baddie you are 🫶✨
