Ingredients:

For the Sauce:

1/4 cup oyster sauce

1/4 cup soy sauce

2 tsp sesame oil

1 tbsp rice vinegar

1 tsp cornstarch

2 tbsp brown sugar

1/2 tsp garlic chili sauce (for some heat)

For the Noodles and Veggies:

Bell peppers, sliced

Onions, sliced

Refrigerated chow mein noodles

For the Shrimp:

Salt, to taste

Pepper, to taste

Garlic powder, to taste

Chili powder, to taste

Onion powder, to taste

Olive oil

For the Steak:

NY strip steak

Cracked sea salt

Fresh cracked pepper

Garlic powder

Chili powder

Olive oil

Garlic herb butter

For Garnish:

Soft boiled egg

Melted butter, seasoned with salt, pepper, garlic, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, and herbs

Directions:

Prepare the Sauce: In a bowl, mix together oyster sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, cornstarch, brown sugar, and garlic chili sauce.

Cook the Veggies: Sauté bell peppers and onions in a little oil over medium heat until soft and slightly charred.

Cook the Noodles: Toss refrigerated chow mein noodles in the prepared sauce over medium heat until the sauce thickens. Add the cooked onions and peppers to the noodles.

Prepare the Shrimp: Season shrimp with salt, pepper, garlic powder, chili powder, onion powder, and olive oil. Cook over medium-high heat with a little oil for 2-3 minutes on each side until the shrimp form a nice C shape.

Cook the Steak: Season NY strip steak with cracked sea salt, fresh cracked pepper, garlic powder, and chili powder. Cook in a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat with a little oil for approximately 3 minutes on each side to get a sear. Reduce heat to medium, add garlic herb butter, and baste the steak with it until it reaches your preferred doneness. Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature.

Finish and Serve: Garnish with a soft boiled egg and drizzle with melted butter seasoned with salt, pepper, garlic, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, and herbs.
