Ingredients
- store bought pie crust 2
- rotisserie chicken or chicken of your choice ( 3-4 cups)
- 1.5 cups of chicken broth
- frozen veg of your choice
- 3 medium size russet potatoes
- whole sweet onion
- garlic
- butter
- flour
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- seasoning ( garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, chicken bouillon to taste)
Instructions
- preheat your oven to 400 degrees
- par boil your potatoes to save on cook time or for a short cut you can microwave them.
- start with 2 tablespoons of butter melted and add your whole onion along with garlic to your taste
- once onions are translucent add in your chicken, potatoes, and vegetables of choice. I used peas and carrots frozen.
- after it’s all mixed up add your seasoning and your 3 tablespoons of flour to start. You may need to add more depending on how much chicken and vegetables you decided to add. Let this cook for 5-6 Minutes to cook off your raw flour. Slowly add your chicken broth while constantly stirring until smooth.
- add in your heavy cream and sour cream.
- place your bottom pie crust and add in filling
- place your top pie crust, and pinch the edges and make some sort of slit to vent. It doesn’t have to be anything fancy.
- bake for 30-40 minutes or until golden brown. It may take longer depending on your oven.
- let it rest for 5-10 minutes to let the filling set and enjoy!!!
