From surviving postpartum to building a brand
In the summer of 2024, I gave birth to my daughter. I thought having a second child would be easier - after all, I’d done it before. But my postpartum experience turned out to be anything but easy. I struggled with depression and lost interest in the things that used to make me happy.
Between caring for two kids and juggling busy days, I realized I needed something of my own - something to remind me that I was more than just a mom in survival mode. So I started creating things. One small idea turned into a spark: what if there was a cooler that made carrying breastmilk (and later, snacks and work meals) feel stylish instead of clinical?
Every mom gadget I had looked purely functional - and that made me feel mechanical, too. I wanted something that looked good and made me feel good.
That’s how Cosma was born. From my own postpartum chaos to a brand built to make moms feel confident and seen.
We just launched - and I’d love for you to be part of this journey with me. 💛 #ideas #momlife #postpartum #startup #babyessentials
