Every parent should learn to pray for their child

3/22 Edited to

... Read moreAs a parent, incorporating prayer into your daily routine for your child can become a source of comfort and strength. From my experience, praying offers a moment to pause and reflect on your child's well-being, growth, and challenges. It’s not just about asking for protection; it’s a way to cultivate hope, patience, and resilience within both you and your child. I've found that regularly praying for my child helps me stay connected spiritually and emotionally, especially during times when parenting feels overwhelming. It allows me to express my worries openly and seek guidance beyond the immediate solutions we might try. Engaging in prayer can also create opportunities for teaching children about faith and gratitude. When children see their parents turning to prayer, it encourages them to explore their own beliefs and develop a positive outlook. Moreover, prayer fosters a sense of community and support. Joining prayer groups or sharing prayers with other parents can help combat feelings of isolation and provide practical encouragement. In summary, learning to pray for your child is more than a spiritual act—it's a meaningful habit that nurtures your family’s well-being, promotes emotional health, and strengthens your bond as you navigate the parenting journey together.

When Adults Apologize, Kids Learn Healing
Sometimes the most powerful thing we can say to a child is, “I’m sorry.” Not to excuse behavior. Not to shift blame. But to show accountability, repair, and respect. When adults apologize sincerely, kids learn that mistakes don’t end relationships—they open the door to honesty, trust, and growt

You are not a sh*tty parent
You don’t react calmly to every situation? That doesn’t make you a sh*tty parent. You’d rather hide in the back of the closet than play dolls with your child (because you hate dolls)—nope, doesn’t mean you’re a sh*tty parent. The fact is, great parenting is not the same thing as perfect parenting.
