I’ve found that associating my mood with colors helps me select books that truly resonate with how I’m feeling at the moment. For example, when I’m feeling bold and adventurous, I gravitate towards books with red covers or themes that inspire courage and excitement. These reads tend to keep me energized and motivated. On days when peace and calm are what I need, I prefer blue-themed books. These tend to be soothing stories, perhaps with introspective or tranquil themes, helping me unwind and find my inner balance. For personal growth, green books have become my go-to; stories about transformation, learning, or nature often come in this category and encourage me to develop new perspectives. Yellow books brighten my mood when I feel like immersing myself in cheerful, optimistic tales or humorous narratives. They lift my spirits and bring joy with every page. Lastly, purple books call to me when I need something deep and thoughtful—philosophical works, intricate plots, or poetic prose that provoke reflection. This color-coded approach to reading not only makes choosing a book fun but also tailors the experience to my emotional needs.
