I made an iced coffee and somehow ended up wandering around the backyard taking pictures. ☕🌿

So I think I accidentally started a new little series.

Where did my coffee take me today? Around the backyard, checking on the flowers, visiting the fruit trees, and attempting to socialize with the cats. 🐈‍⬛

Nothing extravagant. Just finding pretty little moments wherever my coffee happens to take me. 🤎

Starting my day with a cup of iced coffee has become more than just a morning ritual—it feels like an invitation to slow down and truly notice the little things around me. I found that wandering through the backyard, with my coffee in hand, transformed a simple act into a lovely retreat from the hustle and bustle. From sitting on the porch savoring the cool drink, to pausing by the vibrant flowers, every corner held a small discovery to appreciate. One of my favorite spots is the mulberry tree, where I often stop for a quiet moment. Nearby, I check the progress of the apple trees, admiring their greenery and imagining the fruits they’ll soon bear. Along the way, encounters with backyard cats add a playful charm—while one greeted me warmly, another chose to stay elusive, reminding me that some moments are about gentle presence rather than connection. This experience has taught me how coffee can be a companion in mindfulness, prompting me to seek beauty in everyday surroundings. It's not about extravagant adventures but about embracing simple joys in slow living. Sharing these coffee moments as a photo diary allows me to capture and remember the coziness, calm, and connection I feel in these small outdoor strolls.
