Cooking Breakfast Around the World for My Korean Parents, Episode 1 - Dominican Republic.

I am making Los Tres Golpes which is the national breakfast of the Dominican Republic: Mangú (mashed plantain), Fried Salami, Fried Cheese, Fried eggs and pickled onions. My only regret is I left plantain sitting in hot water too long due to filming which darkened the color too much and that I got to eat only a couple of fried cheese due to my lactose intolerance. 😛

To all my Dominican friends from the Heights, Inwood and Covenant Church of the Heights … you know who you are and I am so thankful to have you in my life. I love you like my own brothers and sisters. And I love being part of the community!
