French Onion Pastry

I tried the viral French onion pastry that is going around on TikTok. This pastry was delicious and super easy to make. There are a few things I would definitely change but overall it was really good here is the recipe

Ingredients:

Olive oil

Balsamic vinegar

One small onion or shallot

1 cup fresh shredded Parmesan cheese

Puff pastry dough

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350

Line a baking tray with parchment paper

Lightly drizzle olive oil and balsamic vinegar on the parchment paper (do not drench it just a light drizzle)

thinly chop your onion/shallot and distribute on baking sheet

Top onions and oil with 1/2 cup of the parmesan cheese and cover with your dough ( I recommend slicing your dough into individual pastries)

Bake at 350 for 15 minutes

Top with remainder of parmesan cheese and serve
