NEW starbucks protein coffee.. BUY or BYE?? 👎🏻☕️

I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to look at protein drinks the same after trying these! I’m usually so picky with protein drinks (the chalky aftertaste is a dealbreaker), but these actually shocked me.

🤎 Caffè Mocha (10/10): Tastes exactly like the glass bottle frappes we all love. No weird protein film, just pure mocha goodness.

💚 Classic Caffè (9/10): A bit more coffee forward but still perfectly sweet.

With 22g of protein and only 140-150 calories, these are officially my new daily go to. Have you spotted these yet? 👇🏻

... Read moreAfter trying the new Starbucks Protein Coffees, especially the Classic Caffè, I’m still buzzing from how much I loved them! My initial review (where I gave the Classic Caffè a solid 9/10) focused on the amazing taste – seriously, no chalky protein film, just that perfectly sweet, coffee-forward flavor we all look for. But I know many of you, like me, are also keen to know more about what’s actually in these drinks, especially the caffeine content. So, let’s dive a little deeper into the Classic Caffè, which has quickly become one of my absolute favorites! First things first, the burning question: what about the caffeine content in the Starbucks Classic Caffè Protein Coffee? Starbucks doesn't always make this super obvious on the bottle, but after doing some digging and checking reliable sources, it’s generally understood that these 11 fl oz bottles pack a significant punch. Each bottle of the Classic Caffè Protein Coffee contains approximately 180 mg of caffeine. To put that into perspective, that's roughly equivalent to about two standard shots of espresso or a medium-sized brewed coffee from Starbucks. So, if you're looking for a substantial energy boost alongside your protein, this drink definitely delivers! It’s enough to get you going in the morning or give you that much-needed afternoon pick-me-up without feeling overly jittery for most people. This is a game-changer for those busy mornings when you need fuel and focus. Beyond the caffeine kick, let's circle back to why these have become my new daily go-to. As I mentioned, the Classic Caffè has 22g of protein and only 140 calories. This combination is fantastic for satiety and muscle support. For someone trying to manage their calorie intake while ensuring enough protein, it’s a dream. The fact that it only has 2g of sugar is another huge plus for me. Many ready-to-drink protein shakes are loaded with sugar, which can lead to energy crashes later. With this one, you get the sweetness without the guilt, making it a genuinely healthier option. The OCR also highlighted the '2g sugar' and '140 calories' which are key selling points for anyone tracking their macros. I’ve found it’s incredibly versatile too. The OCR even mentioned it being "good for breakfast," and I wholeheartedly agree! It’s perfect for those grab-and-go mornings when you don't have time to make a full meal but want something substantial. It keeps me full until lunch, preventing those mid-morning snack cravings. I've also tried it as a post-workout recovery drink – the protein helps with muscle repair, and the caffeine gives a nice mental lift after a tough session. You could even have it as a satisfying afternoon snack when you need a little something to tide you over. Compared to other protein coffees on the market, Starbucks has really nailed the flavor profile. As I noted in my initial thoughts, the Classic Caffè tastes like proper coffee, not a watered-down version or one with that tell-tale artificial protein flavor. It's truly a delicious experience, very much like a "glass with the drink" you'd get from a barista, just in a convenient bottle. In summary, if you're like me and were on the fence about trying these new Starbucks Protein Coffees, especially the Classic Caffè, I highly recommend giving it a shot. You're getting a delicious, convenient, high-protein, low-calorie, low-sugar drink with a solid caffeine boost, all without that dreaded chalky aftertaste. It’s definitely a BUY for me!
