MAKE A SMOOTHIE LIKE A PRO 🥤🍓

Tips to make a smoothie like a pro:

🍓Smoothie basics: ALWAYS use frozen fruits this will create the best consistency smoothie. Mix sweet fruits like bananas or berries with less sweet ones like spinach or kale. Add a touch of acidity with citrus fruits like lemon or lime.

🍓Add Liquid: Use a liquid base like almond milk, apple juice, or coconut water. Adjust the amount for your desired thickness.

🍓Texture: For a creamy texture, add Greek yogurt, avocado, flax oil, or nut butter.

🍓Sweeteners: If needed, use natural sweeteners like honey, maple syrup, or agave nectar sparingly.

🍓Protein: Include a protein source like protein powder, Greek yogurt, or tofu for a satisfying smoothie.

🍓Extras: Enhance flavor and nutrition with extras like chia seeds, flaxseeds, spirulina, or greens powders.

🍓Blending Technique: The best blender to use in my opinion is a Vitamix because it’s very strong and cuts through very hard frozen fruits. But if you’re using a regular inexpensive home blender a good tip if you’re having trouble making a smoothie with a nice consistency is to still use frozen fruits but pop them in the microwave for 30 - 45 seconds before blending to soften them up a bit!

🍓Taste Test: Taste your smoothie and adjust sweetness or flavor as needed.

🍓Lastly— if you’re smoothie is fully blended through but you find you just have one small chunk left. Blend in your blender *only on low power until the chunk is out! Before blending check if the chunk has gotten stuck under the blade to avoid over blending which will lead to a smoothie with a thin consistency
