Fig season is one of my favorite times of the year because fresh figs bring such a unique sweetness and texture to recipes. From simple snacks to more elaborate dishes, figs can truly elevate your meals. I love incorporating fresh figs into salads with arugula and goat cheese or blending them into smoothies for a natural sweetness. One of my go-to recipes during this season is a fig and honey tart that’s surprisingly easy to make yet impressively delicious. Aside from sweet dishes, figs can also work wonderfully in savory recipes. Try wrapping them in prosciutto or adding them to a cheese platter for a sophisticated touch. Cooking with fresh figs encourages creativity, and since they’re only in season for a short period, it feels special to make the most of them.
