Try mobility training before PT – here’s why!
When our back starts screaming or our hips feel like they’re 80 years old, our first instinct is to book an appointment with a physio or for a massage, like YESTERDAY.
But here’s what a lot of people don’t understand…
1️⃣ Your body is trying to talk to you
That stiffness when you stand up after a long meeting? The neck tension after deadline day? These aren’t just annoying symptoms - they’re messages. Learning basic mobility work helps you understand what your body’s saying BEFORE it has to scream at you with pain.
2️⃣ You don’t need an hour a day
Your tight hips don’t need a 60-minute therapy session right away. Sometimes it’s as simple as taking 5 minutes between Zoom calls to move mindfully. Small moments > perfect routines.
3️⃣ You’re in control (really!)
Instead of waiting until you can’t turn your neck to look at traffic, you can:
• Take movement breaks between meetings
• Learn simple mobility drills that you can do from anywhere
• Address tension when it starts, not when it’s unbearable
• Build habits that fit YOUR schedule
Think of it like this: Your body doesn’t need another appointment in your packed calendar. It needs you to pay attention to it throughout the day you’re already living.
