ever felt like you’re failing at life?….

this feeling has been hitting me hard lately……while friends get married and have kids, i can’t help be ask, when is it my turn?

i just feel like i am way behind on life in general. i’m still in college and have no idea what i want to do with it when i graduate.

i had to move back in with my parents because i quit my job due to a situation that wasn’t in my control and that really makes me feel like a suck at being a adult.

most people my age have the house, the kids, the partner.

i just hope my turn is coming soon…

... Read moreMany young adults experience the pressure of societal expectations, especially when it seems like peers are achieving milestones such as marriage, home ownership, and parenthood. In today's fast-paced world, it’s common to feel like you're falling behind, particularly during pivotal life transitions, such as college graduation. It's important to remember that everyone’s journey is unique and there is no timeline for success. Engaging in self-reflection can help clarify your passions and open opportunities that align with your true self. In addition, consider seeking support from friends, mentors, or counselors who can provide valuable perspectives and guidance. Instead of comparing yourself to others, focus on identifying your strengths and goals. Utilizing resources for career planning during college can also help you in discovering potential career paths that excite you, even if you’re unsure right now. Taking small, proactive steps towards your future can significantly ease feelings of anxiety about falling behind. Embrace your individuality, and trust that your opportunities will come in their own time.
