I have been seeing so much of you have blah blah amount of followers I will not be following you and it honestly makes me sad. Just know I never look at followers if I like your videos I’m hitting that follow button. ❤️
In today’s social media landscape, it's so easy to get caught up in the numbers game—followers, likes, and shares often seem like the ultimate validation. However, from my personal experience as a stay-at-home mom and content creator, I’ve found that genuinely enjoying someone's content should be what matters most. When I scroll through feeds or watch videos, I don’t check follower counts before deciding to support and follow. Instead, I focus on the creativity, authenticity, and the emotional connection the creator provides. This approach has changed how I interact with content entirely. It’s refreshing to follow accounts of creators who may not have massive followings but who produce engaging, relatable, and meaningful videos. Their smaller communities often feel more supportive and authentic. It reminds me that quality always trumps quantity. I've noticed that when followers become the main criterion, we risk overlooking incredible creators who pour their hearts into their work but haven’t yet reached a big audience. Everyone deserves a chance to grow based on merit. I encourage others to take a similar mindset: look past the follower numbers and find content you genuinely love. Support those creators who resonate with you by following them and engaging with their work. It’s a simple gesture that can mean the world to creators trying to build their presence. Ultimately, social media is about connection and sharing experiences. When we focus on the genuine value rather than the digits, our online communities become more vibrant and supportive places for everyone.
