My Tenosynovitis Recovery Journey🙏🏻
The movement my right hand feared the most before was moving my thumb outward. 💥
I’m not exaggerating — the area where the base of my thumb connects to my wrist would suddenly have a sharp, painful feeling, like something inside was being pulled. The pain would make me immediately pull my hand back.😖
That was when I realized tenosynovitis isn’t only frustrating because of big movements. It’s because we use our thumbs for everything in daily life.✨
Holding my phone required me to grip it carefully, opening bottle caps required force, tearing open packages required pulling, and even holding a cup of water required a steady grip. Every time it hurt, I would instinctively switch to my left hand. Slowly, my right hand became the hand I was afraid to use.😷
I found out about Huayilang Patch because my sister asked me if my wrist was hurting. I told her it was tenosynovitis and that it had been coming and going for a long time. 💫
She said one of her coworkers used to have pain whenever moving their thumb, and later they bought this medicated patch on Amazon and improved. She also told me not to just keep forcing myself to use my hand less and wait it out.✊🏻
I bought two boxes first because I wanted to see if it would actually help with the exact painful area I was dealing with. After washing my hands at night, I applied Huayilang Patch to the most painful spot where the base of my thumb connects to my wrist.🤗
I don’t know the exact mechanism behind it, but while wearing it, the tight and pressing pain inside my wrist really did slowly ease. I just needed to apply it, and I could still type and work normally the next day.💕
The next day after using it, I first noticed a difference when pressing the soap dispenser. Before, pressing down would cause a sharp pain in my wrist. That day, there was still some soreness, but it didn’t suddenly hurt so much that I wanted to pull my hand back.✅
After finishing the first box, my thumb movement became much smoother. Holding my phone didn’t make my wrist sore as quickly, I didn’t need to find scissors every time I opened packages, and twisting bottle caps no longer caused pain in my wrist.⭐
Toward the end of the second box, I was able to use my right hand with more strength again. Holding a full cup of water, carrying small bags, and using a spatula were all fine. 🌿Later, I bought one more box and finished using it because I was worried it would come back after just starting to feel better.💖
Now both of my hands can be used normally, and I no longer have to carefully protect my right hand. The most real feeling after my tenosynovitis improved is that when doing small daily tasks, I no longer have to keep thinking, “Is this going to hurt?”💗
