Like the metaphor of a saltwater fish in freshwater, no matter how strong or healthy the fish is, it will struggle in the wrong environment. This made me realize that sometimes, it's not just about self-improvement but about changing the context in which you live. For example, when I was feeling constantly drained and stressed, I initially blamed myself for not being resilient enough. However, after adjusting my surroundings — like organizing my space, reducing toxic influences, and seeking supportive people — my mental and emotional health improved remarkably. This shift taught me that healing truly begins with a supportive environment. If you feel stuck despite your efforts, try evaluating your 'environment.' It could be your workplace, the people around you, or even your daily habits. Making changes here can create a foundation for your healing and growth. Remember, just like a delicate saltwater fish needs the right water to thrive, you need the right environment to flourish.
