ในการเดินทางสู่ความรักที่ดี บางครั้งเรามักจะมองข้ามความสำคัญของการรักตัวเองก่อน ถ้าต้องการมีความสัมพันธ์ที่มั่นคงและสุขใจ เราจำเป็นต้องรู้จักและรักษาหัวใจของเราเองให้ดีเสียก่อน ผมเองก็เคยผ่านช่วงเวลาที่วิ่งตามหาความรักโดยไม่ถามตัวเองเลยว่าจริงๆ แล้วต้องการอะไร บางครั้งพยายามเปลี่ยนแปลงตัวเองเพื่อให้ใครสักคนรักเรา แต่สุดท้ายกลับพบว่าเราหลงลืมความสุขและความสบายใจของตัวเองไป การ 'ช่างมันบ้าง' กับคนที่เข้ามาเพียงเพื่อเติมเต็มความเหงา คือการเรียนรู้ที่จะไม่หวั่นไหวไปกับความสัมพันธ์ที่ไม่จริงใจ การรู้จักให้อภัยและให้กำลังใจตัวเองสำหรับความผิดพลาดในอดีตช่วยให้เราแข็งแรงขึ้น และมีความมั่นใจที่จะรักในแบบที่เป็นตัวเอง สิ่งสำคัญคือ สติในการฟังเสียงข้างในหัวใจที่บอกว่าเราไม่จำเป็นต้องลดค่าตัวเองเพียงเพื่อถูกรัก การรักตัวเองไม่ได้หมายความว่าจะปิดกั้นความรัก แต่เป็นการสร้างเกราะป้องกันเพื่อไม่ให้ถูกทำร้ายจากความรักที่ไม่เหมาะสม ผมเชื่อว่าหากเรารักษาหัวใจให้เต็มและแข็งแรงจากภายใน ความรักที่เข้ามาจะไม่ใช่แค่การเติมเต็มช่องว่างแต่จะกลายเป็นการเติบโตร่วมกันอย่างแท้จริง นี่คือสิ่งที่ผมได้เรียนรู้และอยากแบ่งปันให้ทุกคนได้รู้ว่าก่อนจะมีรักที่ดี เราต้องเริ่มที่รักตัวเองให้เป็นก่อนจริงๆ
