My infusion and mental wellness journey

Living with Multiple Sclerosis presents many challenges. One such challenge is that I must receive infusions every six months to keep my symptoms manageable. During my last infusion, I did a lot of reflecting on my coping strategies. I draw strength and resilience from several avenues, my treatment being one of them. Here are some other ways I maintain mental wellness!

🧘🏻‍♀️ Practice Mindfulness Daily. Meditate or pray or do both!

🌞 Maintain Positivity. Celebrate the small victories!

🥰 Prioritize Self-Care. Rest when needed, listen to your body and its cues.

🏡 Stay connected with your support system. Your loved ones want to know how you’re doing, they want to cheer you on when you’re well and hold your hand when you’re not.

🩺 Ask a Doctor. Or other medical professional! Never be afraid to contact your care team. Their job is to help you stay well, and most of them love that job!

These are just a few practices I wish I would have implemented before I got sick. I hope they help you out!!
