This week, I embarked on a fun DIY journey using recycled materials from around my home. Inspired by my advent spice calendar jars, I transformed these small glass pots into charming succulent holders. The key materials included glass jars, rope, hot glue, cork bottle caps, and even old lassets repurposed to create little paws for one of the pots. What’s exciting is that all you need to complete the look are magnets and live succulents to bring your mini garden to life. One of the highlights of this DIY was creating a trivet using cork and hot glue. While the finish wasn’t perfect, it’s functional and adds a rustic charm to my kitchen. Making these items was not only a rewarding way to recycle but also an opportunity to personalize my space with unique and sustainable decor.
