Savory Dutch Baby

This savory Dutch baby is one of the best things I have ever made. It looks difficult to make, but it’s so easy. If you’re willing to put in a little bit of effort, you will get to enjoy this beautiful dish for breakfast. To make this you need:

3 eggs

135 g milk

68 g flour

Pinch of salt

22 g unsalted butter

Directions:

1. In a bowl, whisk together eggs and milk. Add the flour and salt and whisk until no clumps remain.

2. Let the batter come to room temperature.

3. Preheat your oven to 450°F. Place a 7” cast iron skillet inside for 10 minutes.

4. Remove the cast-iron skillet and immediately add the butter. Once the butter melts, add the batter in and bake the Dutch baby for 15 minutes.

5. Once the Dutch baby is puffed up and cooked completely, remove it from the oven and add your toppings of choice.

6. I use smoked salmon, avocado, heirloom, tomato, and a fried egg. Top with flaky sea salt, dill, and crushed red pepper flakes.
