After years of meal prepping for my family I have definitely learned a couple of useful tips:
-Personally I try to have at least 2 meats and at least 4 sides in the fridge when I can. This simplifies meal time yet allows us to have some variety as well.
-I usually prep easy things as they store well plus it’s super dooable making it easier and more likely I’ll make it again.
-I never over prep anymore. There’s nothing more disappointing than finding old or rotten food in the fridge. Therefore prep for a reasonable number of days and save money
-Store food in the freezer if you can. This preserves it for much longer (I do this when we go away✈️ so we have meals when we get back)
-Meal prep in a way that’s convenient and fits into your lifestyle. Sometimes prepping isn’t for everyone but anyone can do it.
