what i eat in a day vacation edition

i know so many of us stress out about gaining weight or losing our progress during our vacations, and i promise you its possible to avoid it!! i was on vacation for 6 days and managed to come back 1.2 lbs lighter 😊

i wanted to share a glimpse into what my daily eats looked like while on vacay. i refrained from snacking as much as possible and tried to keep my eating to meals only.

i prioritized sticking to 1 of my indulgences a day, whether it be alcohol, unhealthy food, or eating late at night! this helped me be a lot more mindful of my choices and keep my body and mind as healthy as possible!

i also utilized intermittent fasting with @Litely, which really helped me keep the snacking, mindless eating & late night cravings / binges away. i typically would stop eating around 7pm daily and eating again around 10am!

ofcourse, while on vacation i think it is so important to enjoy yourself, let loose, and be as much in the present moment as possible, but when girls got goals, we got goals!! focus on prioritizing a healthy balance, do not stress & have the best time ever 💗🤭

... Read moreVacations can often lead to worries about weight gain, but with the right balance, you can enjoy your time away without stress. By incorporating intermittent fasting, like stopping your meals after 7 PM and resuming at 10 AM, you can help regulate your eating habits even on vacation. Another strategy is indulging in just one treat per day, whether it's a dessert, a rich meal, or a fun beverage. This helps keep your choices in check without feeling deprived. While you can feel liberated to indulge, maintaining a mindful approach can allow you to savor your experiences fully. Don't forget about hydration! Staying hydrated can help to keep hunger at bay and ensure you feel your best as you explore new places and cuisines. Incorporate lighter meals throughout the day, such as Korean rice bowls or refreshing iced matcha lattes, to stay on track. Ultimately, vacation is about enjoyment and creating memories, so find a healthy balance that aligns with your goals while allowing for those special treats. Bon appétit and happy travels!
