... Read moreMany of us experience the frustrating cycle of feeling motivated one day and utterly exhausted the next, leading to repeated attempts to restart our habits and productivity from scratch. This often isn't due to a lack of discipline, but rather because our brains consume a lot of energy not only in performing tasks but in making decisions. When depleted, both motivation and willpower can falter. From personal experience, especially during challenging times like pregnancy, I realized that traditional productivity systems don't always work when my energy is low. Instead, I needed a flexible approach—one that acknowledges and adapts to exhaustion rather than denying it. Building a system that functions effectively while you're drained means prioritizing energy management first. For instance, simplifying decision-making processes by automating routines or preparing ahead can conserve mental resources. It's about creating habits that require minimal willpower and embracing rest as an essential component of productivity. Setting realistic goals based on your current energy levels, rather than an idealized version of yourself, allows for steady progress without burnout. Importantly, this reduces the emotional toll of 'starting over' repeatedly and transforms your relationship with productivity. I encourage embracing a mindset shift: success does not mean pushing harder when exhausted but working smarter with what energy you have. Systems tailored for low-energy periods not only sustain productivity but also support mental health and overall well-being. If you've experienced this cycle of motivation followed by fatigue and failure, know that it's possible to create a sustainable approach that works even when you feel at your lowest. It just requires building a system sensitive to your energy rhythms and needs.

SEPHORIA 2024 - BEST DAY EVERRR! ✨🫶
Sephoria 2024 was a vibe! Honestly, I had such a great time. If you haven’t heard of it, it’s basically Sephora’s biggest beauty event of the year. Think of it as a mix of a beauty expo and trick-or-treating—brands show off their latest and greatest, and you leave with tons of samples and goodies.
