Day 8 of My 30-Day Arm Challenge
I built this program myself, and I’m excited to see the strength and growth that comes from it. *** I have switched it up this week and added an additional set 🫢
Here’s the workout:
• 5 sets x 12 reps — Lateral Servers
• 5 sets x 12 reps — Around the Worlds
• 5 sets x 12 reps — Scarecrows
• 5 sets x 12 reps — Tricep Pulses
• 5 sets x 12 reps — Front servers
• 5 sets x 12 reps — Bicep Curls (last set = AMRAP)
Finished strong with 40 reps on the final bicep curl set 🔥
Let’s see what we can do in 30 days together. #pcos #midsize #michiganmom #bingeeatingrecovery #bodydysmorphia
Continuing this 30-Day Arm Challenge has been an empowering journey for me. On Day 8, I noticed how adding an additional set really pushed my muscles to adapt and improve. The workout sequence focuses on multiple muscle groups in the arms, from biceps and triceps to shoulders, ensuring balanced development and avoiding common pitfalls like overworking a single muscle. In my experience, exercises like lateral servers and around the worlds are excellent for targeting the deltoid muscles, improving shoulder stability and arm definition. The scarecrows are a great way to activate the rear delts and upper back, which many overlook but are essential for arm strength and posture. Tricep pulses work on the often neglected triceps, which are crucial for overall arm shape and strength. Meanwhile, the front servers engage the front shoulder muscles, complementing the other exercises perfectly. The bicep curls, especially finishing the last set with AMRAP (as many reps as possible), create a perfect challenge to push endurance and muscle growth. I also found that tracking reps and adding intensity gradually helps maintain motivation and consistent progress. For those dealing with conditions like PCOS or body dysmorphia, incorporating this focused yet manageable workout daily can provide not only physical benefits but also promote mental wellbeing through routine and achievable goals. Remember to hydrate, focus on controlled movements, and rest adequately between sets. Combining this routine with proper nutrition amplifies results. I'm excited to see how the final two weeks shape up and encourage anyone interested in arm toning and strength building to try this challenge and adjust the sets based on personal fitness levels.
