Day 9 of My 30-Day Arm Challenge
I built this program myself, and I’m excited to see the strength and growth that comes from it. *** I have switched it up this week and added an additional set 🫢
Here’s the workout:
• 5 sets x 12 reps — Lateral Servers
• 5 sets x 12 reps — Around the Worlds
• 5 sets x 12 reps — Scarecrows
• 5 sets x 12 reps — Tricep Pulses
• 5 sets x 12 reps — Front servers
• 5 sets x 12 reps — Bicep Curls (last set = AMRAP)
Finished strong with 45 reps on the final bicep curl set 🔥
Let’s see what we can do in 30 days together. #pcos #midsize #michiganmom #bingeeatingrecovery #bodydysmorphia
As someone who has consistently worked on arm strength, I can attest to the effectiveness of incorporating a variety of exercises like lateral servers, around the worlds, and scarecrows into a routine. These moves engage different muscle groups in the arms and shoulders, offering a balanced workout that targets both strength and endurance. When I added an extra set to my workout, similar to what this 30-day challenge author did, I noticed increased muscle fatigue, which is a good indicator of muscle growth potential. For example, the inclusion of tricep pulses helped me specifically strengthen the triceps, the often-neglected back part of the arm. Pairing this with front servers and bicep curls ensures that all major arm muscles are engaged. One key tip I found helpful is the AMRAP (as many reps as possible) component featured in the last set of bicep curls. It pushes your limits and encourages muscular endurance. Finishing strong with a high rep count, like 45 reps, was challenging but very rewarding in terms of feeling muscle engagement. Consistency is crucial, so committing to a 30-day challenge with structured workouts each day can yield noticeable improvements. Also, keeping track of reps and sets, as well as gradually increasing intensity, helps avoid plateaus. For those managing conditions such as PCOS or body dysmorphia, incorporating structured physical activity like this can positively impact not just physical health but mental well-being as well. Always listen to your body and adapt exercises as needed. Overall, mixing up your arm workouts with moves like lateral servers, around the worlds, scarecrows, and pulses can add variety and promote balanced muscle growth. Give it a try and see how your arms transform over 30 days!
