Apps that help me be a better me ✨
Finding Apps that positively affect me are a MUST when it comes to trying to keep a positive mindset for myself🪷
Insight Timer
• I love this app, it’s so diverse & has so many different practices that you can do for FREE! Of course there is a premium but you don’t have to buy it & you still have plenty of options to choose from! I love being able to just have a guided meditation or an affirmation mediation. Having a app that i can choose what i’m feeling that day is so nice & relaxing for me🌸
Macro’s First
• This app has been a game changer as i’ve been constantly growing into a healthier lifestyle. When i am in a deficit this app helps me stay on track as well as lets me put in my own goals such as protein, carbs , calories, etc. Most apps i have used will use only what they recommended when i go on “Macro Counter” online or look up “ Caloric deficit calculator” & use that site to be able to conclude how i will be cutting my macros! 🏋🏻♀️
• I feel like everyone knows about Pinterest but for me personally it’s such a relaxing place to be when i just can’t handle being on social media. It sparks so much inspiration & creativity in me when I’m on it.
Journal
• I never thought i’d really enjoy this app until i started doing it. It really helped when i didn’t feel like actually writing . I was able to really put all my feelings down & it felt nice. I love that it gives you journal prompts to follow & you are able to put pictures!
SINE
• I actually got recommended this app & i really love it!! It reminds me of co-star but more soft . It has a lot of positive affirmations that you can follow. There’s also a tool where you can write something you want into your reality & it gives you affirmations to help align with your goal🩷
Stoic.
• I recently just got into this app & it has a very simple design full of ways to improve yourself daily. I really enjoy that it has a morning, mid & end of day reflection period that helps you to get things off your mind!

After sharing my initial thoughts on essential apps, I wanted to dive deeper into how some of these tools truly make a difference in my journey towards a better self. For anyone searching for 'insight timer sleep meditation', let me tell you, this app is a goldmine. I've found their sleep stories and guided meditations to be incredibly effective. Instead of just general meditation, I specifically look for sessions focused on unwinding after a long day or even short 10-minute wind-downs. What I love is the sheer variety – you can choose meditations based on duration, theme (like stress relief or gratitude), and even the instructor's voice. It’s not just about meditating to sleep; it's about cultivating a peaceful mindset before bed, which has profoundly impacted my sleep quality. The OCR mentioned 'Insight Timer - Meditate & Sleep', and it truly lives up to that promise, offering a holistic approach to mental calm and rest. Shifting gears to physical well-being, the 'macrosfirst - macro tracker' has been instrumental in my health journey. Moving beyond just calorie counting, understanding macronutrients (proteins, carbs, fats) has been a game-changer for me. MacrosFirst allows for such detailed customization. Unlike other apps that might dictate your goals, here, I can input my specific protein target for muscle repair, adjust carbs for sustained energy, and manage healthy fats. This level of control, especially when I'm aiming for a caloric deficit or just maintaining a balanced diet, makes it so much more effective. I’ve personally found that seeing my macros laid out clearly helps me make smarter food choices throughout the day, ensuring I'm fueling my body optimally for a truly 'healthylifestyle'. It's more than just tracking; it's about informed eating that empowers me to reach my fitness goals. And for mental resilience, the 'stoic app' or 'stoic. app' has become a daily ritual. The OCR mentioned 'stoic. journal & mental health', and that fully captures its essence. I initially thought Stoicism was complex, but this app simplifies it into actionable daily practices. Beyond the morning, mid-day, and evening reflections, which are fantastic for processing emotions and gaining perspective, I especially appreciate the short lessons and thought-provoking quotes. They challenge me to view challenges differently, practice gratitude, and focus on what I can control. It's not just about journaling; it's a continuous learning curve for emotional regulation and inner peace. These daily check-ins aren't just reminders; they're opportunities for genuine self-improvement and fostering a stronger, more resilient mental state. To round out my self-improvement toolkit, SINE, as highlighted by the OCR as 'SINE daily manifest', offers a beautiful way to integrate positive affirmations and manifestation into my life. I use it to set intentions for the day and reinforce positive beliefs, which helps me align my actions with my goals and cultivate more positivity. And for pure emotional release, the Journal app is irreplaceable. The prompts are a lifesaver on days when I don't know where to start, helping me articulate feelings and thoughts I might otherwise keep bottled up. It's a wonderful space to reflect and celebrate small victories, making it a true companion in my journey towards being a better me every single day.
