Oatmeal is packed with iron and fiber, which are vital during postpartum recovery. As an exclusive pumper, I’ve found that staying well-hydrated is absolutely crucial. Drinking plenty of water throughout the day, alongside electrolyte-rich beverages like mango BodyArmor sport drink or coconut water, helps keep my milk supply consistent and prevents dehydration caused by the extra fluid loss during breastfeeding. For meals, I prefer balanced options such as a turkey sandwich paired with kettle chips or steamed teriyaki noodles with chicken and vegetables. These provide a mix of protein, carbohydrates, and essential fats needed to fuel my body.
