HEAVILY PROCESSED FOOD

I had this soup ( the store bought ) for two days in a row. I'm so thankful I'm came across this app to help me understand what I'm putting in my body.

As a woman that's trying to do better for my health this just motivated me to put this soup down and opt in for healthier choices. I know some food options is not ideal considering the price of food right now but one step at a time it's a journey! I pray for good health and wealth for anyone reading this 💕

You can still enjoy good food without the bad stuff.

I'm doing a 7 day trial so let's see how this go.

... Read moreFrom my experience, shifting away from heavily processed foods like certain store-bought soups can feel challenging, especially when convenience and price are major factors. For instance, many popular soups contain additives such as yeast extract, sodium citrate, and artificial colorings like oleoresin paprika — ingredients that can detract from their nutritional value. What helped me was starting small, just like the author mentioned doing a 7-day trial. I began by reading labels more carefully and opting for soups with fewer and recognizable ingredients or making simple homemade versions when possible. While it's true that healthier options sometimes cost more, I found that meal prepping and buying fresh vegetables in season helped manage the budget better. Another tip is to boost store-bought soups by adding fresh or frozen vegetables, herbs, and lean proteins to increase the nutrient content and reduce reliance on additives. This approach satisfies cravings for comfort food while keeping your intake of processed additives in check. It's a journey that requires patience and mindfulness, but choosing less processed foods can have meaningful benefits for energy, digestion, and overall wellness. Staying motivated by tracking progress or joining communities focused on healthy living can provide the support needed to make sustainable changes. Remember, every small step counts toward better health!
